PATRIA Engine – Particle System – Fire effect

 

 

Yesterday night I finalized the first draft of the PATRIA 3D fire effect.

The new effect is based on a scalable/programmable particle system based on OpenGL with blending and alpha channels.

The effect looks quite promising considering the youth of the solution which still requires a lot of code optimization.
